Privacy Policy

Draft for review · September 25, 2026

About this policy

LGX is a recreational sports platform for clubs, teams, leagues and players. This policy explains the information handled when you create an account, join a roster, score games, record video, view highlights or request a demonstration. References to LGX, we and us mean the operator of the LGX service. This is a draft for operator and legal review before store submission.

Information you and organizers provide

Account and profile information may include email, name, display name, jersey number, gender, city/state, profile photo, biography, sport, position, experience and social links. Optional profile fields need not be supplied to create an account. Team and league organizers can add roster entries, guest players and unclaimed profiles before those players register. Account authentication is handled by our hosting and authentication provider.

Games, statistics and media

We process team memberships, schedules, locations of sporting events, scores, play-by-play events, player statistics, ratings, rankings, awards and disputes. Authorized recorders can upload game video and audio and generate highlight clips, thumbnails and player associations. Recording metadata includes device labels, pairing information, timestamps, quality settings and upload diagnostics. Video may include teammates, opponents and spectators, including people without an LGX account. Organizers and recorders are responsible for obtaining appropriate notice and permission before recording.

Invitations and demo contacts

Invitations contain recipient email, team or club, role, inviter identity, invitation tokens and acceptance status. Demo requests contain name, email, organization, role, message and follow-up status. These records may include non-user email addresses supplied by organizers or people requesting a demo. An invitation or demo inquiry is not consent to unrelated marketing.

Usage and technical information

The service and its providers process app interactions, page visits, session and device/browser information, network information such as IP addresses, errors, performance and usage analytics to operate, secure and improve LGX. Game participation statistics and authenticated app usage are different types of information. Authentication tokens, local storage and caches support sign-in, preferences and video uploads. Camera or microphone access is used for recording features when permitted; notification delivery uses device registration managed by the native app and its providers.

Why we use information

We use information to authenticate accounts, maintain rosters, administer competitions, calculate scores and rankings, show player histories, deliver video and highlights, send invitations and service notices, respond to requests, prevent abuse and keep compliance records. Where applicable, processing relies on providing the requested service, legitimate operational interests, legal obligations or your consent. Optional marketing is separate from core sports features.

Public profiles and sharing

Player profiles, team and league statistics, awards, leaderboards and published media may be visible to other users or the public, depending on the feature and publication settings. Public content can be copied or shared outside LGX. Marketing opt-out does not hide a public playing profile or remove club, team or league history. Do not put confidential information in public profile fields, social links or uploaded media.

Service providers and disclosures

LGX uses Base44 for hosting, account services, storage, notifications and app infrastructure, and Mux for video processing and delivery. Apple and Google support native app distribution and notification delivery. Other providers may receive technical information when you play third-party embedded content or open social links. Information may also be disclosed to authorized club and league staff, at your direction, to comply with law, to protect safety or rights, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable safeguards.

Sponsor promotions, marketing and tracking

Sponsor promotions and marketing communications are optional and off until you opt in. You can withdraw in Account Settings; this stops future LGX sponsor-promotional messages and marketing outreach and hides promotional notifications. Ordinary team announcements, account security, invitations, scores, highlights and public sports features are not marketing. This preference does not authorize sale of personal data, advertising identifiers, cross-app tracking or sharing identifiable player data with sponsors. If tracking subject to Apple App Tracking Transparency is introduced, separate OS permission is required before it occurs.

Notification choices

You can choose LGX phone alerts for game starts, final scores and ready highlights, without agreeing to marketing. Phone alerts also require permission in the native iOS or Android app and your phone settings. The web app does not request browser push permission. Turning off phone alerts does not remove your account or core in-app sports activity. LGX preferences record your requested delivery choices, not an assertion that the operating system granted permission.

Retention, deletion and your choices

We retain information while needed for the service, sports history, security, disputes or legal duties. Retention depends on the purpose and applicable requirements; backups may persist for a limited operational period. Account Settings provides account deletion and marketing/notification controls. The current deletion process removes the account and memberships and unlinks claimed profiles; it does not automatically erase historical player profiles, statistics or recorded videos. Consent records preserve the version, time, choice and account identifier for compliance. Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, portability, objection, restriction or deletion, withdraw optional consent and complain to a competent privacy authority. Contact the LGX operator using its published support contact for requests beyond the in-app controls; identity verification may be required.

Security and international processing

We use access controls and service-provider safeguards to reduce unauthorized access, but no system guarantees absolute security. Providers may process information in countries other than your own. Applicable transfer requirements must be addressed by the operator and providers. Only share account access with authorized people and report suspected misuse.

Children and changes

LGX is not intended for children under 13 to independently create accounts. Youth organizers must obtain legally required parent/guardian permissions for youth records and recordings. Contact the operator if information about a child has been collected improperly. We may update this policy and will provide notice of material changes and request new consent where legally required. The document version is shown above.
